Why am I doing this?
Last time I made some friends at a social event, the night turned into something I didn’t see coming.
It wasn’t a loud party.
We didn’t go clubbing
or get drunk...
like the cliché idea of having fun.
It was just a few of us—low-key, relaxing music, light drinks, and board games.
But honestly, it was one of the most enjoyable nights I’ve had in a while.
That night left me wanting more friendships like that.
If you’re like me, you know how rare it is to find people you genuinely click with.. especially in Vancouver.
I'm on a mission to change that.
A bit about me:
I’m 36, born in Taiwan, raised in Canada. Used to work as a UX designer in tech, now quietly building something of my own to escape the 9-to-5.
Fluent in English and some Mandarin.
6ft tall (if that matters, ha).
I love learning, deep convos, staying fit, and I’ll take nature or chill nights over large crowds and parties any day.
Wait.... why does this look like dating setup?
First of all, I’m single- let’s just get that out of the way.
But for now, I just want to connect with like-minded people and make Vancouver a little less boring by doing what I can.
I’m also pretty selective, which means you’d have to be really cool for me to actually like you.
